I am a highly qualified corporate paralegal available to work on a flexible basis. This means that I can swiftly and seamlessly join and contribute to your team at a reasonable price.

 

What are your working models?

There are 3 working models: Options include me working at your offices or working remotely, influenced by your business needs.

 

On Site Full-Time Paralegal: You may hire me as a full-time salary employee to work at your office. I would be an addition to your legal team.

 

Remote Full-Time Paralegal: You may hire me as a full-time salary employee to work from my home. You get all the expertise and experience of a permanent employee without the over-head costs.

 

Remote On-Demand Paralegal: You hire me on a project-by-project basis. This model offers more flexible support for your projects. I only work as and when you need a flexible extension of your team. Many clients use Remote On-Demand for contract overflow, employee gaps, absences or longer projects work or extra capacity when they need it most. ​

 

How are models priced?

I try to provide as much certainty and transparency as possible with my salary expectation for on-site or remote full-time paralegal.

 

I work with my clients to decide on the most suitable pricing on a project by project basis including retainers and fixed fees for my remote on-demand paralegal services.

Does Cordina offer transparent billing?

I pride myself on my transparency, and ensuring clients know exactly what they are paying for. Access my billing portal anytime to see your time entries in real time and access previous billing entries.

 

How does Cordina deal with conflicts of interest and confidentiality?

Confidentiality and conflict of interest are very important aspects of any legal business. I am aware that I have a strict obligation to protect my clients’ privacy and avoid any prospect of conflicts of interest.

 

As a standard practice, I provide all my clients with a signed agreement that mandates confidentiality and conflict of interests.

 

Most importantly I understand that my duty of confidentiality and conflicts of interest continues after my projects and employment is completed.

 

What is your vetting process?

Clients may conduct background checks with Cordina’s knowledge and approval at their expense. Cordina will provide professional references upon request and she will sign agreements that mandates confidentiality and conflicts of interest.

How does the process work from start to finish?

After you have decided on the services that you need my assistant:

• Next, schedule a phone interview using my online booking calendar or complete my client in-take form so that we can discuss your needs and my availability.

• Then we can discuss and agree to terms, sign the necessary agreements, and discuss assignments including deadlines.

 

What if I don’t know what I need?
No problem! Please complete the client in-take form as best as you can or call me at (914) 563-8611 so that we can discuss your goals.

 

Do I have to train Cordina?

You do not have to train Cordina in the areas where she has experience. (See Cordina’s experience). In general, you will have to take some time to integrate her into your legal team by explaining how your company’s specific systems and procedures work.

 

Cordina is a versatile, seasoned Paralegal who is eager to take on new responsibilities beyond her current experience. If you have a project that currently does not fit into her current experience, she would be open to discuss it with you. In such case, she offers 1-hour free training to get her up to speed to take on new and added responsibilities.

 

Will I be able to meet Cordina before the assignment begins?

Yes. You can book a telephone conference interview for Cordina to meet and speak with your team. If you are in Westchester, N.Y. or New York City, Cordina would be happy to stop by your office to meet with your team.
